Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

The role involves developing automated test scripts to accelerate the delivery of high-quality software products. This is an external contractor position, with engagement structured around specific project requirements. There may be opportunities for continued work through other projects or an extension, depending on organizational priorities.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing automated tests in various application layers, creating reusable test components, and monitoring automation test results.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated tests using automation tools and scripting languages
  • Create scalable and maintainable automation test components
  • Perform automated regression, smoke, functional, and end-to-end testing
  • Monitor and analyze automation test results
  • Debug and fix failed tests
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in software testing and development
  • 1+ year hands-on experience in software QA automation
  • Proficiency in UI automated test development using Selenium
  • Strong programming skills in C# with a grasp of object-oriented principles and best coding practices
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for managing repositories, configuring pipelines, and executing tests
  • Proven ability to convert manual test cases to automation test scripts
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
