Job Description:

A Data Engineer is required to design, develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will support existing customer implementations and troubleshoot and resolve database and data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions
  • Support existing customer implementations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database and data-related issues
Future Tasks (with additional experience and training):
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and define data requirements
  • Build and maintain databases ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Write scripts to automate processes and tasks focusing on Python
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Experience in database design, management and optimization preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases MySQL preferred
  • Strong scripting skills preferably in Python
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques
  • Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
