Job Opportunity

A Senior Program Design Specialist is sought to inform the design, development, and implementation of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects and activities across an organization.

Key responsibilities include contributing to WASH technical strategies through a multi-sectoral, collaborative approach, supporting staff development and learning around best practices in WASH programming, and collaborating with the MERL team to support the design, monitoring, and evaluation of WASH projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inform the design, development, and implementation of WASH projects and activities.
  • Contribute to WASH technical strategies through a multi-sectoral, collaborative approach.
  • Support staff development and learning around best practices in WASH programming.
  • Collaborate with the MERL team to support the design, monitoring, and evaluation of WASH projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred in a WASH-related or International Development field.
  • 10+ years of experience working in this or a similar position or field.
  • Advisor-level experience with a WASH program in a developing country is desirable.
  • Experience in project planning and management is beneficial.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
