Job Description

The primary function of this senior leadership position is to provide expert financial guidance to the executive team. This role involves overseeing multiple entities and states, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.

  • Financial updates, forecasts, and insights are provided regularly to support strategic decision-making.
  • Month-End Reporting is overseen, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple entities and states.
  • Cash flows analysis, annual budgeting processes, and driving financial accountability across all departments are managed.
Accounting Operations
  • Accuracy of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems is ensured, adhering to regulatory and GAAP compliance.
  • Multi-entity, multi-state payroll processing is led, working closely with HR and other teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support for Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions is provided, and work with the team in optimizing processes for scalability and efficiency.
Tax Compliance & Filing
  • All tax-related responsibilities are overseen, including income tax filings, multi-state tax compliance, and other required submissions.
  • Timely, accurate filing and reporting of taxes are ensured, collaborating with tax advisors and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support
  • Executive leadership is assisted in M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
  • Insights and support for financial modeling and projections related to acquisition opportunities are provided.
KPI Development & Monitoring
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are developed, implemented, and monitored to drive both team-level and business-wide performance.
  • Analysis of KPI trends and data-driven recommendations to support continuous improvement in financial operations and strategic outcomes are made.
Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting are identified, developed, and implemented.
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements across all entities is ensured.
  • Process documentation for all key components of the finance and accounting function is developed.
Strategic Planning & Analysis
  • Contribution to long-term financial planning and strategy formulation as part of the executive team is provided.
  • Strategic recommendations for growth, acquisitions, and other business opportunities, utilizing financial analysis and modeling, are provided.
