Are you passionate about designing and building innovative solutions in containerization and virtualization?

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team, working on next-generation open source VMM or container technology. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT.

You will work closely with our distributed team to design and specify new features, engage with upstream communities, conduct security analysis and reviews, create performance benchmarks, collaborate proactively, write high-quality code, debug issues, review code, and discuss ideas with the team.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong academic track record, an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, and experience working on open source virt or container tech. You should also be proficient in Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred), have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to travel twice a year for company events.
