Job Title: PHP Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled PHP developer to fill a critical role in our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in web development, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain cutting-edge web applications using PHP and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Follow industry best practices in web development and software engineering.
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a PHP developer or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with and managing cloud services and cloud resources & domains.
  • Experience working with Ubuntu/Unix CLI and Apache or Nginx.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
  • Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Knowledge, and willingness to learn about NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a PHP developer or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
