Main Responsibilities

Management Accounting:

  • Participate in month-end close activities, preparing journal entries and reports.
  • Assist Business Functional Partners in providing financial analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities and currencies.
  • Ensure accurate accounting aligned with IFRS and company policies.
  • Support audits by addressing auditor queries and assisting the Group Corporate Reporting Team.
  • Consistently apply new accounting and reporting policies.

Corporate Reporting and Treasury:

  • Perform weekly bank reconciliation and ensure accurate transaction recording.
  • Set up payments for non-PO-based transactions.
  • Participate in month-end close activities.
  • Prepare and submit balance sheet reconciliations and tax returns on time.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls in treasury and reporting.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and handle asset capitalization or expensing.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks such as purchase order updates, financial dimension changes, and mailbox management.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly sales reports.
  • Validate sales data at 95% completion and challenge inconsistencies.
  • Work with Platform Apps teams to configure systems properly.
  • Monitor CRM engagement and improve sales process completion.

Subscriptions and Renewals:

  • Validate contracts and supporting documents before processing in LISA.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of contract renewals and upsells.
  • Resolve renewal queries and discrepancies in CRM and contracts.
  • Perform quality checks on renewal setup and calculations.
  • Ensure renewal notices are sent accurately and on time.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Prepare annual budgets and 12-month rolling forecasts.
  • Report budget variances and provide supporting analysis.
  • Support Managing Directors and stakeholders with financial presentations.
  • Review contract and project performance against revenue and margin targets.
  • Assist the Commercial Team in large deal negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in accounting systems and tools.
  • Support system enhancements and testing.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve finance operations.
