Job Opportunity

We are seeking a remote medical interpreter to support healthcare appointments in Plautdietsch and English. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional language skills, strong communication abilities, and experience with consecutive interpretation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate interpretation services during remote medical consultations.
  • Assist with note-taking and utilize memory techniques as necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and customer service throughout the interpretation process.
Required Qualifications
  • Fluency in both English and Plautdietsch.
  • State certification is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Familiarity with note-taking and memory techniques.
  • Professional demeanor and courteous behavior.
  • Experience with consecutive interpretation.
  • Possession of knowledge about interpretation Code of Ethics.
