Job Title: Urgent Care Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Urgent Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients during non-business hours.

About the Role

The Urgent Care Coordinator will play a critical role in managing urgent requests, schedule adjustments, and escalations outside of standard business hours. This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to ensure seamless patient care coverage and operations.

This is a fully remote working opportunity that requires a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection. A reliable power backup solution is also necessary to manage load shedding and power outages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours needs, including urgent matters, schedule changes, and escalations.
  • Monitor communication channels and respond promptly to calls, messages, and emails.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling to ensure consistent coverage and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the daytime operations team to ensure seamless transitions and continuity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of after-hour activities, updates, and escalations.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in customer care, call centre, scheduling, or workforce coordination. They should have excellent English verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
