Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to support local purchasing and procurement operations for a technical or infrastructure project. This role works closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure full compliance with client regulations.

This position requires someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Procurement Manager as part of the Global Support Team
• Lead local procurement activities, including sourcing, bidding, and vendor selection
• Ensure all procurement actions comply with client policies
• Vet suppliers and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and warranty requirements
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to support asset tracking and inventory documentation
• Maintain accurate procurement files, documentation, and approvals in line with audit requirements
• Work closely with logistics, finance, and technical teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement for technical or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of procurement laws and government procurement standards
• Proven experience managing vendors, sourcing equipment, and negotiating terms
• Familiar with US Federal Agency procurement policies and procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement tracking tools
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
