Job Overview

At EastWest Bank, we are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Trust Operations team in Taguig. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient recording of trust transactions, both from the Trust System and manually. Your primary goal will be to submit timely reports to trustors, EW Business Units, Management, and regulatory agencies while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all business transactions are correct, accurate, and complete in the trust system vis-à-vis transaction documents.
  • Comply and submit accurate financial reports on time to BSP, BIR, SEC, the Insurance Commission, HLURB, and other regulatory bodies to avoid penalties from delays or errors.
  • Review monthly and quarterly financial statements for IMATOFA accounts to ensure compliance with the Trust/IMA Agreement and BSP requirements.
  • Assess existing processes and propose strategic improvements to deliver exceptional and timely service to both internal and external clients.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, analytical, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
