Job Title: Commercial Accounting Officer

At Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Accounting Officer to join our team.

The Sales Accounting Officer is responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions related to sales. This role includes preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting the Business Unit finance teams with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and verify sales transactions and tender accurately in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile sales reports with financial records to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and reconcile concessionaire sales for payment.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that provide valuable insights into sales performance and financial health.

Compliance & Audit:

  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing required financial data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of sales-related financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Presentation & Data Management:

  • Create engaging financial presentations using PowerPoint to communicate key findings and recommendations to management.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, sales performance tracking, and financial reporting, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Develop charts, dashboards, and visual reports to support decision-making and drive business growth.

People Management & Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Foster collaboration between the finance and operations teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales accounting, finance, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in team management, supervision, or leadership roles, with excellent people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems.
  • Able to work collaboratively with different teams to achieve common goals.
