Job Title: Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our design team as a Planning Drawings, Elevations & Layouts Expert.

This role requires proficiency in CAD tools and a strong understanding of space planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise planning drawings, elevations, and layout plans using CAD software.
  • Interpret architectural sketches and design briefs to develop full construction-ready plans.
  • Maximize space efficiency while adhering to client specifications and building codes.
  • Ensure all drawings are aligned with UK building regulations and planning guidelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to revise and improve drawing packages.
  • Maintain organized records of revisions and drawing sets for project tracking.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design layout development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and adjust to evolving client needs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate remotely and provide updates clearly.
