Job Description
Role OverviewAs a key member of the Buskowitz Energy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring 100% compliance with BIR regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare indirect tax returns and related tax documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate timely tax payments to minimize potential risks.
- Assist senior analysts with performing regular tax compliance reviews, identifying potential exposures, and communicating issues promptly.
- Prepare calculations of potential indirect tax exposure as required.
- Obtain and collate creditable withholding tax certificates.
- Prepare vendor WHT certificates and BIR 2316 for employees.
- Prepare journal entries related to indirect taxes and WHT.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
- Experience in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation skills.
- The ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- A high degree of commitment to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
