Enterprise Java Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our engineering team in building scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java development, cloud architecture, and software solutions.

Location: Colombia - Remote.

Language: Advanced English (B2/C1+).

Timezone: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Follows Colombian Holidays.

Experience: 4-7 years of professional Java development experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture on AWS.
  • Write clean, testable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
