Overview

We're looking for a skilled developer to collaborate with our team in creating innovative solutions.

DigitalTolk is an organisation that works to make an impact by giving a voice to those who don't speak the local language. We arrange translators so patients can get medical treatments and communicate with doctors. We also provide interpreters for crime victims to help them get justice. Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who need to communicate with refugees and other people in need. We're hiring developers to join us on this journey as we use technology to make the world a better place.

Job description

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing the backend and unit testing of web applications. You'll work closely with designers and developers to create web platforms and solutions for our products, some of which are customer-facing, others for internal use. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and can write testable, reusable, and scalable code.

Responsibilities
  • Develop backend and unit tests for web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to build web platforms and solutions.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience with Laravel and Vue/Vuex for backend and frontend development.
  • Strong coding skills, understanding of architecture and design patterns, experience with Redis and message queues.
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns including microservices, serverless, and core infrastructure.
