Key Position: Data Specialist/Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Data Specialist / Executive Assistant with expertise in SQL or similar database tools. This role involves managing and optimizing complex Excel-based datasets, transitioning them to SQL or other database platforms, and providing administrative support to the executive team.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical foundations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly. Proficiency in SQL (or similar database tools), Microsoft Excel, and project management tools such as Asana is required. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, managing, and optimizing complex Excel-based datasets with potential migration to SQL or other database systems
  • Conducting data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for operational improvement
  • Developing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and organize data for reporting and decision-making
  • Maintaining database integrity, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency
  • Providing administrative support to executives, including managing schedules, organizing documentation, and facilitating communication
  • Assisting in workflow automation, enhancing business processes through database-driven solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives

Required qualifications and skills include proficiency in SQL, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently, excellent organizational and time management skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
