We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team.
Job DescriptionOur ideal candidate will be responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements. They will architect, design and implement a reliable and scalable automation framework for a real-world machine learning platform. They will automate tests to assure functional requirements and performance KPIs are met. Our Senior QA Automation Engineer will ensure high product quality through rigorous functional and API level tests. They will identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. They will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience with UI Automation tools such as Selenium, and API automation works, Jenkins
  • Knowledge and experience with Robot automation framework using Python
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python and/or J2EE technology or equivalent object-oriented paradigm
  • Experience with automating test validation either via API or through database using Snowflake, HIVE or AWS Athena is highly desirable
  • Knowledgeable in Git workflows like branching, merging and conflict resolution
  • Understanding of Agile testing methodologies required
  • Web application testing experience required both in frontend and backend validations
  • Technically well-versed in developing comprehensive test plans covering business use cases and test cases
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and SQL, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS is highly desirable
  • Experience working with container-based solution is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks
