Job Overview

The DevOps Engineer role acts as a bridge between application development teams and core cloud infrastructure, helping application development teams bring products and features to production. This role will:

  • Act as L2 support for Engineering Operations when incidents or issues occur
Key Responsibilities

This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent problem-solving ability, willingness to work as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework, and being a self-starter who loves to collaborate with the team and client.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience of deploying and running cloud infrastructure, dealing with scalability, failover, and observability, as well as automation using scripting languages. You should also have hands-on experience with operations and troubleshooting VMs and containers on Linux, and either Kubernetes or Terraform.

  • AWS: AWS SA Associate/SysOps Associate certification or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with automation using scripting languages
  • Hands-on experience with operations and troubleshooting VMs and containers on Linux
