Job Opportunity

A dynamic and fast-growing gaming content brand is seeking a skilled Video Editor to enhance their content across multiple platforms. They have established a strong presence on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram, and the brand is expanding into long-form YouTube videos featuring game recommendations, reviews, and listicles with engaging voiceovers and curated gameplay footage.

Work Details
  • 20 hours/week part-time with potential to transition into full-time; AU working hours
  • Remote work setup (PH-based); Independent Contractor
Key Responsibilities
  • Edit two long-form YouTube videos per week using voiceovers and gameplay footage
  • Add text overlays, basic animations, and smooth transitions to improve viewer retention
  • Organize and manage large video files and project assets efficiently
  • Collaborate with colleagues via Discord for feedback and creative direction alignment
  • Use Google Drive and Workspace for file management and version control
  • Conduct research on competitors and channel analytics to enhance content performance
  • Assist with scriptwriting and topic research as needed
  • Maintain consistency with the existing editing style and branding of the gaming content channel
  • Suggest and test new editing styles or techniques to improve quality and engagement
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in editing YouTube videos, preferably in the gaming niche
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other professional video editing tools
  • Strong editing skills including cutting gameplay footage, syncing audio, and creating motion graphics and text overlays
  • Ability to match voiceovers or commentary with gameplay footage effectively
  • Experience conducting competitor analysis and using YouTube performance data to guide improvements
