Accounts Payable Role Overview

The Accounts Payable function is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. As a key member of the financial team, this role ensures seamless invoice management from receipt to payment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices are accurately matched with purchase orders and approved in a timely manner.
  • Process supplier invoices efficiently, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Handle intercompany and importation invoices in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct thorough audits of employee expenses and liquidation reports, applying set criteria to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with ledger accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Verify sub-ledger and general ledger transactions related to accounts payable to guarantee consistency.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to queries and audit requests, demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
  • Prepare schedules as required for month-end/year-end closings.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of supporting materials.
  • In case of discrepancies, escalate issues immediately for prompt resolution.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the Accounts Payable department.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • Desirable SAP FI experience.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical capabilities.
    • Process-oriented approach.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
