Medical Biller AR Followup Analyst Role

ClinicMind, a leader in electronic healthcare records software and revenue cycle management services, is seeking an experienced Medical Biller AR Followup Analyst to join their team. This role involves maximizing insurance reimbursement for healthcare practice owners and resolving claim denials and underpayments.

Responsibilities:
  • Maximize insurance reimbursement by efficiently handling medical claims and interacting with US-based insurance carriers.
  • Discover root causes of claim denial, underpayment, or delay and propose effective resolutions.
  • Plan and execute the medical insurance claim denial appeal process to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with US-based practice owners and clinicians to correct data on insurance claims.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 6 months experience in US-based AR follow-up and charge and payment posting.
  2. College degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field.
  3. Hands-on experience with data analysis and classification.
  4. Familiarity with the US medical insurance industry and insurance claims processing cycle.
  5. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding systems.
  6. Understanding of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formats.
  7. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  9. Experience working with chiropractic, physical therapy, and mental/behavioral health specialties.
