Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Editing Specialist to join our team and elevate our content across multiple platforms. Our brand has established a strong presence on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram, and we are expanding into long-form YouTube videos featuring game recommendations, reviews, and listicles with engaging voiceovers and curated gameplay footage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit two long-form YouTube videos per week using voiceovers and gameplay footage
  • Add engaging text overlays, basic animations, and smooth transitions to enhance viewer retention
  • Organize and manage large video files and project assets efficiently
  • Collaborate with the content lead to receive feedback and align on creative direction
  • Use Google Drive and Workspace to manage files and maintain version control
  • Conduct research on competitors and channel analytics to help improve content performance
  • Assist with scriptwriting and topic research as needed
  • Maintain consistency with the existing editing style and branding of our channel
Requirements
  • Proven experience editing YouTube videos, ideally in the gaming or content creation niche
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other professional video editing tools
  • Strong editing skills, including cutting gameplay footage, syncing audio, and creating engaging motion graphics and text overlays
  • Ability to effectively match voiceovers or commentary with gameplay footage
  • Experience conducting competitor analysis and using YouTube performance data to guide improvements
