Lead Software Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to lead and deliver complex features, collaborate with our global team, and champion code quality and usability.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of complex features, ensuring high-quality secured code is delivered on time.
  • They should understand the problem space and devise effective solutions that scale. Solving the problem right is a key success criterion.

  • Collaboration with the team and leadership to define best practices and recommendations to support future growth is essential.
  • Assisting the team in achieving quality goals and working towards gaining efficiency and predictability in effort estimation is also required.
  • Participation in the hiring process, contributing to the attraction and development of a stronger Front-End team across the global organization is necessary.
  • Advocating for code quality, reusability, and the simplification of user experiences within our platform is important.
  • Building a deep understanding of our core domain and contributing to domain-specific knowledge by actively engaging in design discussions is required.
  • Actively participating in cross-team collaboration across different departments is crucial.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • More than 5+ years of proven software development experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript (es6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience building functional and creative user experiences that inspire users to do their job best.
  • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented design with UML and SOLID Principles.
  • Experience with Open API and Microservices.
  • Experience in SQL and NoSQL data modelling, architecture, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience leading joint analysis and design and bring clarity in requirements and own end-to-end delivery scope, plan, and schedule.
  • Experience in test-driven development.
  • Experience writing unit tests and UI automation using selenium/playwright.
  • Proficiency in building highly scalable frontend applications with code quality, security, and performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Self-driven and own the end-to-end deliverable for a feature working closely with PM and BA.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, SonarCloud, Terraform will be a plus.
  • Experience in mentoring junior developers is a plus.
  • Keep pace with the latest technologies and bring innovation to the team to solve business challenges.
  • Be flexible with technology stack (we use Pyspark, SparkSQL, T-SQL, .NET Framework 6+, MySQL, SQL Azure, Azure Data factory, Angular 14).
