Job Title: Cost Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team at SMDC. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project budgets, preparing cost analysis reports, and analyzing monthly cost reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project budget and prepare Cost Analysis Report & Contracts Monitoring.
  • Analyze monthly Cost Report and prepare variance analysis and submit to Corporate AM.
  • Monitor Guaranteed Material Quantity (GMQ) of OSM specifically for rebars, cement, and tiles.
  • Endorse Purchase Request & Change Orders that are within the scope of the project.
  • Coordinate partially delivered POs with Procurement / Engineering to close the PO and minimize Open GR.
  • Review and endorse Construction Services billings.
  • Attend to Engineering / QS concerns.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Financial Management or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Project Accounting / Cost Accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
  • SAP Experience is a plus.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires full-time dedication.
