Junior Financial Analyst - Cash Application

As a Junior Financial Analyst at 3M, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining the cash application process. This challenging yet rewarding role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Tasks:

  1. Operate within the scope of managing cash applications from multiple external sources, including accurately processing payments.
  2. Manage and reconcile bank statements to guarantee accurate records of client transactions.
  3. On a regular basis, analyze and resolve outstanding account balances.
  4. Conduct SAP entry requests from local groups while strictly adhering to 3M's financial policies.
  5. Efficiently clear and match outstanding items.
  6. Produce high-quality reports to inform decision-making.
  7. Expertly address internal client inquiries via Salesforce and email.
  8. Effortlessly handle month-end duties.
  9. Develop and refine internal procedures and control measures.
  10. Collaborate in the resolution of audit discrepancies.

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a closely related field.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Treasury, Accounts Receivable, or similar fields.
  3. Knowledge of Shared Service Centers for large corporations is beneficial.
  4. Native-level English; conversational skills in additional languages are welcome.
  5. High level of expertise in SAP and Microsoft Office software.
  6. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Quick adaptation to change and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
  8. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
