Job Overview

M CATERING AND FINE FOODS seeks an accomplished Accounting Officer to spearhead financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management & Record Keeping:
    • Process and record financial transactions (invoices, expenses, payments) in QuickBooks Online.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
    • Prepare and update financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
    • Manage billing, collections, and payment processing.
    • Ensure timely invoice generation and reconciliation of receivables.
    • Process vendor payments and verify supplier invoices against purchase orders.
  • Bank & Account Reconciliation:
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of all transactions.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Ensure compliance with BIR, tax regulations, and other government-mandated requirements.
    • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and financial analysis.
  • Payroll Processing & Expense Management:
    • Assist in processing payroll and government-mandated contributions.
    • Monitor company expenses and petty cash funds, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Process Improvement & System Optimization:
    • Utilize QuickBooks Online features to improve financial reporting and workflow automation.
    • Suggest improvements in accounting policies and internal controls.
