A software developer is needed to join our team. This role involves implementing backend features and functionality.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with our lead developer to implement backend services and features using Node.js and JavaScript. They will be responsible for conducting thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features before submission. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a commitment to code quality.

  • Implement backend services and features using Node.js and JavaScript based on provided specifications
  • Follow established coding conventions, patterns, and architectural guidelines
  • Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features before submission
  • Read and understand detailed requirements, asking clarifying questions when needed
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality
  • Excellent ability to follow established coding styles and conventions
  • Proven track record of implementing features based on written requirements and specifications
  • Experience with manual QA and testing methodologies
  • Strong reading comprehension and the ability to ask clarifying questions
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote-work environment
