Key Role: Financial Accountant

The organization seeks a skilled Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, posting accounting journal entries and performing ad hoc tasks as required.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports of financial transactions.
  • Assist with external audit processes and ensure timely completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills in supporting a high-performance culture.
Essential Functions:
  • Post accounting journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Support external auditors and perform ad hoc tasks and project work as required.
  • Reconcile KPOS to the accounting ledger for assigned areas.
  • Conduct sales and margin analysis.
  • Support budgeting processes.
  • Prepare monthly business activity statements (BAS).
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reporting and dashboards.

Candidates should possess a degree-level qualification in Accounting or Commerce, with a minimum of 2-4 years' experience in an accounting role. They should also have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP or similar accounting software.
