Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and evolve a cutting-edge AI-integrated financial ecosystem supporting rapidly scaling educational ventures.
  • Author strategic design decisions to revolutionize and streamline critical financial processes.
  • Provide expert written feedback on deep dives and improvement plans to enhance logical frameworks and train both AI systems and human colleagues.
  • Engage in strategic discussions focused on budgeting, market expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory adherence.
  • Orchestrate seamless large-scale financial operations across tuition management, audit processes, and tax compliance.

This is an executive-level position that requires the ability to pioneer an AI-powered financial ecosystem that renders traditional team structures obsolete. You will collaborate directly with our senior leadership team, influencing expansion strategies, budget frameworks, and vendor relationships.

The financial infrastructure you design will fundamentally reshape how millions access education. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position requiring entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.

Requirements
  • A professional financial certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA)
  • Minimum 10 years in progressive finance leadership positions (Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, or comparable roles) with demonstrable advancement
  • Proven track record in executive finance leadership (SVP, CFO, or equivalent) with comprehensive oversight of all finance functions
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and integrated financial reporting
  • Extensive experience optimizing and managing ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, etc.), preferably in multi-entity organizational structures
  • Successfully managed or participated in at least 5 external audits with Big 4 accounting firms, from either perspective
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of effective executive-level engagement
  • Based within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

  • Knowledge of U.S. K-12 education frameworks (private schools, charter systems, ESA programs)
  • Track record of developing finance automation solutions or AI-enhanced workflows
  • Background in financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions
