Buyer Strategist

Job Summary:

This role manages a queue of procurement requests, ensures proper documentation and timely execution of purchase orders, and communicates with stakeholders to resolve issues.

• Manages the flow of procurement requests from various locations, ensuring prompt and accurate response within 24 hours.
• Identifies and addresses emergency and high-priority requisitions, communicating effectively with requestors and buyers.
• Collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of purchases, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Reviews and verifies purchase order details, including supplier information, pricing, and statement of work.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably with indirect materials or services.
• Working knowledge of SAP, SAP ARIBA, or similar procurement systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• A team player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
