Data Platform SRE Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform SRE Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and cost optimization of our data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will perform application administration tasks, including installations, connectivity, configuration, upgrades, and patching across cloud and SaaS platforms.
  • Monitor platform health, track service level agreements (SLAs), and resolve issues in collaboration with senior team members.
  • You will support automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and enable "shift-left" operational models.
  • Document processes, create knowledge base articles, and develop self-service capabilities for internal users.
  • Contribute to cost optimization efforts, performance tuning, audit activities, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure compliance and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work across multiple technical domains.
