Senior Business Operations Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in delivering high-end products and supporting the team in creating detailed documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define System Scope: Collaborate with the Product Owner and squad members to ensure accurate requirement specifications at an epic/story level.
  • Translate Business Needs: Develop models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentation to help the target audience understand business requirements.
  • Foster effective team communication to build consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
  • Validate Requirements and Testing: Validate end-to-end requirements via reviews, walkthroughs, and demos. Assist in writing and conducting UAT test cases.
  • Identify potential risks/issues that may impact the squad's health.
  • Demonstrate expertise in conceptual modeling, ability to see the big picture, and provide concise, clear answers to various business topics.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in functional analysis in Private Banking and Wealth Management; knowledge of banking business and operations is a plus.
  • Prioritize stakeholder engagement at all levels, including senior management; experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams.
  • Project management experience and full application development life cycle (planning, budgeting, approval, sourcing, monitoring, and implementation).
  • Proficiency in development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and HP ALM is a plus.
  • A team player who collaborates and shares information.
  • Strong familiarity with Avaloq Core Platform; Avaloq certification is a plus.
  • Will relocate in Singapore.
