Job Overview

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Data Integration Specialist to join our team at Lewis Glanz Consulting. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to meet the business needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements and perform technical feasibility studies/analyses to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop high-performance ETL solutions using ODI, SQL, and Java to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any production issues or technical advice related to data integration.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations engineers for interface deployments, production data analysis, and UAT debugging.
  • Stay up-to-date with new tools and technologies, such as Azure DevOps, GIT, and Ansible code snippets, and implement them in our data integration processes.
  • Design and implement deployment automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Perform unit testing and system integration testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare regulatory reports by understanding client needs and requirements.
  • Support audits with documentation, proofs, and code reviews.
  • Develop data warehousing solutions that adhere to best practices and optimize performance.
  • Complete full test cycles before implementation to ensure seamless execution.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate solution implementation and reduce manual errors.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to analyze needs, design solutions, and provide regular updates.
  • Apply advanced SQL query language skills to support stakeholders during audits and regulatory requests.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to other team members as needed, leveraging your expertise and experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development using ODI (Oracle Data Integrator).
  • Extensive experience integrating data using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Thorough understanding of data warehousing, data modeling techniques, and entity relationship diagrams.
  • Experience working with Oracle RDBMS, tables, views, indexing, tuning, and data types.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL Developer or other SQL client tools.
  • Data analysis and cleansing techniques.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including analytical functions.
  • Experience with data transformation techniques.
  • Able to solve complex problems and think critically.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
