As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and supporting visualizations that unlock actionable insights for our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop dashboards from wireframes in Microsoft Power BI, utilizing your expertise in building complex data models and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customized visualizations, ensuring an interactive and user-friendly experience for our business users.
  • Develop SQL scripts to extract and transform data from various sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL Server, and Snowflake.
  • Built and maintain applications in Power Apps, integrating them seamlessly with Power BI.
  • Automate manual tasks and enhance dashboard functionality through research and exploration of new marketplace visuals and R/Python tools.
  • Perform regression testing on Power BI, troubleshoot existing VBA scripts, and monitor email outputs from scripts.
  • User maintenance, including adding, removing, and reassigning licenses as needed.
  • Analyze PowerBI logs to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in developing and supporting visualization applications, with expertise in building data models in Power BI and understanding of Power query and DAX.
  • Ability to perform basic trouble-shooting, log analysis, root cause analysis, and coordination with IT teams for support.
  • Intermediate experience in building paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder or prior experience in SSRS is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, such as JavaScript and Angular JS, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate Platform is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas across multiple teams and escalate major issues when necessary.
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to explore new tools and technologies based on guidance from the SA team.
