Key Responsibilities

  • Credit review and customer creation/maintenance are crucial aspects of this position.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing customer accounts, including annual reviews, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Receipt and matching of various payment methods, including cash, cheques, TT, credit cards, and GIRO, are essential tasks in this role.
  • Accurate accounting and timely processing of internal leasing accounts are critical to our operations.
  • You will also be involved in managing credit holds/releases and coordinating with relevant teams.

Collections and Credit Control

  • You will handle AR accounts and internal leasing accounts that are overdue, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Maintaining and updating collection activities in our system is a key responsibility.
  • Duty to handle in-bound calls/queries on invoices requires strong communication skills.
  • Managing common AR mailboxes and responding to customers' calls and queries efficiently is essential.
  • The Letter dunning and SOA processes need to be managed effectively.
  • Supervising the collection team in handling in-bound calls/queries on invoices and managing common AR mailboxes and responses to customers' calls and queries is a significant aspect of this role.
  • Supporting HQ queries and assisting in providing information for legal action cases and liaising with HQ is required.
  • Cash Application is a critical task.
  • This role involves any other tasks as required by the business.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is necessary.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an accounts receivable/banking environment is required.
  • Excellent systems and process knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Experience with finance-related systems is desirable.
  • A high level of accuracy and a strong work ethic are expected.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team is essential.
