
Support Specialist

The primary responsibility of a Customer Support Associate is to provide exceptional customer service and resolve routine issues related to clients' products or services.
- Ensure that the level of service delivered meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and utilize decision-support tools and resources to provide an appropriate resolution to the customer.
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, demonstrate empathy, and maximize opportunities to build rapport with the customer.
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed-upon procedures.
- Maintain basic knowledge of client products and/or services.
- Prepare complete and accurate work, including notating accounts as required.
- Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Offer additional products and/or services.
- Track, document, and retrieve information in call tracking databases.
- Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma with three to six months of relevant experience preferred.
- A courteous and strong customer service orientation.
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge.
- The ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
- Dependability with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask, including flexibility and adaptability to changes quickly.
- Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced, high production work environment.
- The ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
- Patiently handle all customer contact situations, maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner.
- The ability to rotate shifts, as needed.
This is an entry-level position that requires a basic skill set to perform routine tasks within simple processes. The role involves working closely supervised and following clearly defined procedures. You will start to develop familiarity with client terminology, operating standards, and procedures. This role is ideal for individuals who are starting their career and looking to grow with a dynamic organization.
