About the Role

This position provides broad support to the reinsurance underwriting team, collaborating closely with brokers and clients to ensure all relevant submission and modeling data is provided to initiate the underwriting process.

Key duties and responsibilities include working closely with catastrophe modeling and actuarial teams for pricing targets, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and company approach, reviewing and preparing contract wordings, and managing electronic filing for all business entries.

  1. Provide broad support to the reinsurance underwriting team.
  2. Collaborate closely with brokers and clients to ensure all relevant submission and modeling data is provided.
  3. Work closely with catastrophe modeling and actuarial teams for pricing targets.
  4. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company approach.
  5. Review and prepare contract wordings.
  6. Manage electronic filing for all business entries.
  7. Process bound submissions and endorsements in SICS Accounting System.
  8. Consult with and assist accounting and claims teams on premium/loss related queries.
  9. Assist with internal and external audit requests.
  10. Collaborate and correspond with internal and external contacts to achieve a high level of service and meet client expectations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

This role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and three to five years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of insurance policy forms and regulatory requirements, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach.
