Custom furniture design requires a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise. As a skilled designer/draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop precise and accurate drawings for complex furniture designs.

- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications and production requirements.

- Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction details, including structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.

- Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production needs.

- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required for this role.

- Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork is essential.

- Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques is highly preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings is crucial.
