The Crisis Intervention Professional will be instrumental in our mission by working closely with residents who face complex mental health issues. This position requires exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of crisis intervention principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and respond to crisis situations, ensuring resident safety and well-being
  • Develop and implement personalized crisis plans to address resident needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in crisis intervention
Requirements:
  1. Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  2. Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient or residential setting
  4. Ability to stand for at least 2 consecutive hours
  5. Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
  6. Diverse population work experience
  7. Boundary maintenance
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy
  9. Record-keeping skills
  10. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  11. CPR/First Aid training bi-annually
  12. Negative TB test annually; bi-annually if Chest X-Ray test is required
Physical Requirements:
  • Bending and lifting light objects
  • Sitting for extended periods while viewing a computer monitor
  • Computer keyboard operation
  • Hearing and speaking to exchange information
  • Reading reports and data
  • English proficiency
  • Working in a noisy, busy environment
