About the Role

In this role, you will be part of our Accounts Receivable team, working closely with clients to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer payments are applied accurately and promptly in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Apply receipts to open balances and rectify any processing errors as needed.
  • Download customer remittance details and apply payments based on them.
  • Research unidentified payment receipts and collaborate with Cash Collectors to determine correct posting.
  • Maintain a daily cash receipt file to document processing time for applied payments.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding payment status.
  • Create and distribute monthly reports.
  • Attend monthly AR meetings to discuss On-Account and Suspense Account payments.
  • Review and update Desktop Procedures (DTP).

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 0-1 year work experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Familiarity with basic finance concepts and principles.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and complete straightforward tasks.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
