About LSEG's Risk and Due Diligence (RDD) Team:

The RDD team maintains and develops a tailored suite of products and services focused on the management of compliance risk.

This Role:

You'll be capturing business requirements from internal Product Directors, Product Managers, and Product Owners and sharing them with our sprint teams by crafting and prioritizing the product backlog.

Responsibilities center around working as a core member of one or more of our globally located scrum teams, ensuring those teams know exactly what to develop.

The ideal candidate will handle queries from the scrum team rapidly in daily stand-ups and refinement sessions, responding promptly and openly to any challenges to ensure the highest quality end product and maintain momentum in development sprints.

Continuous improvement is essential to how we work, and the Analyst is at the center of this, promoting healthy conversation around new feature development to ensure broad understanding of direction while doing their part to ensure good decisions in product design.

The role is hybrid remote with some time in the office working with sprint teams.

We have multiple scrum teams consisting of mixes of internal staff and third-party consultants, typically including Business Analysts, UX designers, Developers (front and back end), Automation testers, performance testers, and QA engineers. Teams are based in multiple locations but mostly across Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Programme and Product managers, communicate progress, and articulate any issues quickly and clearly.
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate sophisticated business requirements for the software we're building.
  • Document and translate these business requirements into detailed user stories and supporting content.
  • Take the lead on maintaining a quality backlog of user stories through activities such as backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate with scrum teams to ensure scrum velocity is maintained and optimized.

  • Experience in Scrum/Agile methodology, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to balance multiple tasks/projects.
  • Understands the principles of usability and helps ensure the software is fit for purpose.
  • An understanding of the KYC/AML/DD environment.
