Backend Engineer Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. This standalone role involves designing and implementing backend architecture, building scalable services, and managing deployments/DevOps with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in software development and a solid understanding of databases, APIs, and microservices. Strong proficiency in modern backend languages, such as Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), Node.js, Go, or Java, is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure and scalable backend architecture systems.
  • Develop APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
  • Manage deployments and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
  • Work independently, taking ownership of technical decisions and solutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience at senior-level.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages, preferably Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), Node.js, Go, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
