Chief Financial Officer - Accounting Professional

This role requires a seasoned accounting professional to serve as the right-hand to the Controller, supporting both strategic and tactical initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, take full ownership of their responsibilities, and possess strong accounting expertise and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts, providing insights on significant variances and contributing to the ongoing improvement of internal financial reporting packages.
  • Assist in preparing internal financial reports and support management with variance analysis and commentary on financial trends and results.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, maintaining data integrity and ensuring resolution of discrepancies.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and other relevant regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
