About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced software engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

We are seeking a skilled and agile developer who can help us deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. Our ideal candidate will be outcome-driven, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support component design, development, and maintenance while adhering to personal technical quality standards.
  • Assist in defining structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions.
  • Optimize performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collect feedback from users and clients, and build solutions based on their needs.
  • Collaborate with client teams and Technical Leaders to achieve timely delivery.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience of delivering projects in an agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of developing real-world solutions.
  • Detailed understanding of version control tools like Git.
  • Experience with testing tools at all levels (unit, integration, end-to-end).
  • Familiarity with databases and automation, CI/CD processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively using pull requests and code reviews.
Bonus Points
  • Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Experience working with Typescript, GraphQL, or other modern technologies.
  • Familiarity with architectural and design patterns.
  • Understanding of security and performance considerations.
