We are currently seeking an Australian Tax Accountant to join our team. As an integral part of our accounting services network, you will have the opportunity to work with multinational clients and contribute to the preparation of financial statements according to accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
  • Prepare management accounts and help identify accounting issues
  • Apply basic Australian tax compliance procedures and assist with Australian tax planning for clients
  • Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Complete requisite regulatory forms and comply with the lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements

Requirements:

  • A business/commerce degree with an accounting major is required; commencement of CPA or equivalent is preferred
  • At least one year of experience in Australian tax accounting is mandatory
  • Strong communication skills and preferably Xero experience are highly valued
