About the Role

Hunter's Hub Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-level support for production-related application incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Analyze incident reports, develop corrective measures, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with vendors as needed to resolve issues and improve application stability.
  • Design and develop technical documentation, including technical design documents and unit test plans.
  • Write efficient and well-documented code, adhering to company standards and best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, document test results, and prepare unit test signoff forms.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of application changes, updates, and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst with a focus on PL/SQL development.
  • In-depth knowledge of RDBMS concepts and strong expertise in Oracle technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, ORDS, Oracle Scheduler, and data migration using ETL via Oracle.
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher, Oracle E-Business Suite, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Bash/shell scripting, and relevant tools such as Gitlab, Jira, Sonarqube/sonarlint, and Control-M.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
