Job Opportunity: Admitting Supervisor

An Admitting Supervisor plays a vital role in managing and guiding admitting staff to ensure efficient patient admissions and related tasks. This key position oversees the daily patient admission and access operations within a healthcare facility, supervising staff, ensuring accurate and timely registration and patient intake, and orienting patients and their families to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise admitting staff members to maintain high productivity levels.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely patient registration and intake processes.
  • Orient patients and their families to the hospital facilities and services.
  • Collect data and disseminate relevant hospital policies to staff.
  • Manage room assignments for optimal patient care.
  • Provide Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) briefings as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a medical-related field such as Biology, Nursing, Public Health, or Office Administration/Management.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
