About the Role

This position plays a critical role in supporting the Team Manager in delivering value to Shell through the operation and innovation of the world-class Accounts Payable RTP process.

The role requires working closely with various stakeholders across different levels in CP, Businesses and Finance to ensure seamless execution of financial activities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and continuously improve Accounts Payable RTP process
    • Understand and operate financial controls effectively.
    • Escalate items that interfere with the completion of reconciliation activities to Team Manager.
    • Conduct weekly/monthly consolidation and submission of KPIs to Process Excellence, CP I&I.
    • Provide analysis and insights on performance.
    • Identify and implement process improvements within assigned scope.
    • Act as AP focal point for CP, Business, and other parts of FO.
    • Provide practical and analytical support to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting for financial transactions.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including CP Operations Delivery, CP Data, RA DS Business Analyst, AP PE P&P Expert, CP PGS Process Expert, Country Finance Advisors
    • Initiate, manage, and participate in operational meetings to discuss performance, issues, and collaboration.
    • Demonstrate and promote One Finance Behaviours and Safe Hands.
  • Participate in projects and change programs impacting area of responsibility, including digitalization projects and business change programmes.
  • Promote HSSE mindset and culture.
