  • Lead your squad in developing critical features that meet customer needs. We primarily use Ruby, but training is available if you're not familiar with the language.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and UX specialists to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write automated tests for production code.
  • Develop and maintain key components of web applications.
  • Conduct testing and code reviews for yourself and colleagues.
  • Mentor junior engineers within your squad.
Your Qualifications

  • You have extensive experience as a senior software development engineer (typically 6+ years), but we grade based on technical expertise over years of experience.
  • In previous roles, you've focused on server-side and RESTful API development and integration.
  • You're proficient in at least one programming language, such as Ruby, Python, or TypeScript. We'll upskill you in Ruby when you join.
  • You have proven experience implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
  • You have a strong understanding of best practice software engineering processes, testing, and Agile methodology.
  • A team player who always prioritizes colleagues and has a highly adaptable and versatile approach to work.
  • You have good verbal and written English skills.
  • You're passionate about learning, sharing knowledge, and mentoring teammates.
